Ch 5: Step two: Choose management options - Optional activities

Higher, deeper, further...optional activities to explore other perspectives about this topic

  1. Survey your NWCO friends to find out which management strategies they use most often. Are they happy, or do they wish they could change things?
     
  2. Find out if any nearby communities are actively trying to control white-tailed deer or Canada geese. What's happened so far? How is it working?
     
  3. Search the web for fact sheets that explain why some temporary wildlife conflicts happen (such as robins pecking at windowpanes, or woodpeckers drumming on gutters). Create a file to help you respond to customer questions.
