{"id":944,"date":"2020-06-10T23:47:01","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T23:47:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nwco.net\/?page_id=944"},"modified":"2020-07-22T15:38:52","modified_gmt":"2020-07-22T15:38:52","slug":"kentucky","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/nwco.net\/?page_id=944","title":{"rendered":"Kentucky"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Regulatory Agency<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>(800)-858-1549<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>License Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must submit a $100 application fee<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>License Duration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The permit is valid from March 1st to the last day in February the following year<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pass a Department administered exam with a score of 70% or better<ul><li>The exam is comprised of question regarding:  <br>The statutes and regulations pertaining to commercial nuisance wildlife control and trapping, the life history of commonly encountered nuisance wildlife species, Wildlife sign and nuisance scenarios; what species is responsible, and disease concerns with wildlife control <\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/nwco.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Kentucky-Study-Material.pdf\">Study material<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li> Examinations are independently scheduled by calling&nbsp;800-858-1549 <\/li><li>Submit a $100 application fee and fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/nwco.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Kentucky-Application.pdf\">Commercial Nuisance Wildlife Control Application<\/a><\/li><li> Provide proof of completion of the Kentucky Hunter Education Program or a course offered by another jurisdiction that meets the course standards set by the International Hunter Education Association&nbsp;if you will use a firearm for nuisance control purposes.
